CivCity: Rome is a strategy game for Windows. The game takes elements from both the Civilizations and the Sid Meier sagas, which should make it a classic. However, in the little time that I spent playing this, I didn't feel the game was any better than any other city builder. At the core of the game, there is the premise of the story line. You are an engineer who is granted the opportunity of working for the most powerful emperors. You need to prove yourself and show what you can do. For that, you are given the always popular gather-resources-and-build approach. It has always worked, but not by itself. The game's graphics are not really bad, but the game feels old. The whole story is great, but there isn't much fun in just building a city. Perhaps if the action was more fast-paced and the graphics were a bit more appealing, this game would have been great. I have even read somewhere that there is a bug that doesn't allow you to click units when you are playing on a high resolution, which is something I couldn't do because of my computer's specs. Nonetheless, not being able to click your units is a terrible bug.
